Who we are
Dave’s Wish was born from one man’s final hope—to make life a little easier for others facing its most difficult moments.
Before David passed from pancreatic cancer in 2011, he shared a vision: a nonprofit that would support hospice patients and their families in practical, meaningful ways. Together with his close friends Tammie Ware, Bill Sutter, and Bill Waller, David co-founded Dave’s Wish to ensure that no hospice family would have to face critical needs alone.
Today, Dave’s Wish continues to carry out that legacy. We provide urgent financial assistance, comfort items, and compassionate support to hospice patients in the Lubbock area—because everyone deserves dignity, peace, and a little extra care at the end of life.
